About

ree
Starting my farming career in Rush (1963)

Owner, editor, and proprietor of the Echo. Native of Rush and now an expatriate. I’m the first in six generations to raise a family outside of Rush. I feel very connected to the town because of all the history in my family. I’m a web developer and have a Public Communications degree. I spent most of my career doing accounting and number processing to pay my bills. Now that I am older, I’m getting back to writing and doing what I originally wanted to do in a career. My wife and I have been married for almost 40 years with 3 grown children. My wife is from Europe, and I have spent many vacations in the last 20 years traveling the world. It definitely affects my opinions.
